Hopefully they don't have a 'proprietary' caseback threading Also, did all the manual case sets come with hex crown tubes? Or just after a particular series? referring to case, not CG
rolli Posted December 16, 2010 Report Posted December 16, 2010 released in 2005 = H-serie = first change = only Crown-bridge type ( some models already got the new crown-guard in 2004 ) released in 2007 = J-serie = second change = crown-guard-new lever with rollerwheel, new hexagon case-tube, new crown type, automatic pams got also the strap-quick-release spindle ( handwind pams kept the long standard lug-horn screws ) rolli I'd love to hear what the experts feel about these cases, now that a member has actually received one and provided some close-up pics. Drulee Posted December 16, 2010 Author Report Posted December 16, 2010 Thanks rolli. So these new cases would only be right for J series onward, unless the crown tube is switched out. Good to know.
