Has anyone bought a Seamaster with quartz movement? How are they?

Are you referring to a gen? If so, one if the most reliable and comfortable watches out there. I've had 3 over the years but only sold them to upgrade. Great price too.

My first rep was a quartz SeaMaster Planet ocean. It was good looking watch but after some time In this hobby I wanted the correct automatic movement, with sweeping second hand. So I purchased the chrono with the A7750. If having a quarts movement In a watch that really has a auto dosent bother you,go for It.
