bobyboy Posted January 14, 2011 Report Share Posted January 14, 2011 On the genuine movement there is a pearl pattern finish on the plates. The same finish I have seen in the Asian clone ETA version. So my question is this:Except the Asian version is there another version with the same pattern finish as the genuine. Because my dealer says that the new SW-200 version has the pearl pattern finish. nikki6 Posted January 17, 2011 Report Share Posted January 17, 2011 Have a look on Josh's or another dealers site and compare the movement in yours to the movements advertised there. If there is a difference you will spot it. And yes I believe that all the movements have the cotes de Geneve 'swirl finish' on them. Jkay Posted January 18, 2011 Report Share Posted January 18, 2011 (edited) That is not a clone movement, altho the Seagull eta clone movement has Pearlage as well. (just a note .. the Coates d'Geneva is the straight bars pattern (as on the rotor pictured here), and the little rounds are Pearlage) and I just noticed that my perpetually renewing subscription has expired by itself once again.
