supermanx Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I've seen some really nice vintage and even though its usually not my style... I was bored so figured I would give it a go. This is my first attempt but I'm thinking I may redo it soon. What do you think.
supermanx Posted October 5, 2006 Author Report Posted October 5, 2006 Just realized how poor the pictures are, I'll take another pic tomorrow evening while it is still light out.
leitztozeiss Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 I think it look good. You just need an unengraved CG and a solid caseback!! Latter is on the way!
dadog13 Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 this one looks like it survived WW III...i like it...
fitmic Posted October 5, 2006 Report Posted October 5, 2006 Something tells me: NAH! BUT I F**KING LOVE IT!
supermanx Posted October 13, 2006 Author Report Posted October 13, 2006 or he could just flip the CG I never took more pictures, because I decided I do not like the seconds hand and plan on redoing it filing in the second hand... painting the minute and hour hands black, and working a little more on the lume job. As for the cg, I may just flip it for now and keep and eye out for a 127 guard and grind it down. Maybe someone with davidsens latest 217 with the backward cg would want to trade?!?
supermanx Posted October 15, 2006 Author Report Posted October 15, 2006 #2 Dial, plan on taking a little more time this go around... Filed out the 6 and 9, debating whether I want to go green or pinkish red lume, first coat of epoxy on the seconds:
supermanx Posted October 23, 2006 Author Report Posted October 23, 2006 Here's my second attempt, haven't put it back in the case yet: "inspiration":
