Yes it is the working power reserve model and yes the date is hard to read for any one without 20/20 vision such as myself but the date to me is rarely important so it is not a big deal that I cannot read it in anything other than bright light. It wears really well and my wrist is approx 8 inches and I have a couple of holes left in the band when adjusted to fit my wrist. The crown does tend to dig in a bit until you get use to it but again thats not a big deal. Cheers

Most of them carry a large number of IWC. And most are the same, at the same price, all coming from same factories in China... The main difference will be with whom you have the better feeling... Myself, I'm a Josh aficionado, but that's really personal.
