hava
Recently i buy a gen dial, hands and insert for 9411, i have already the movement from a donor watch (Sandoz). But now i need to decide the case, was is the option..... i suposse the best is Phong case, after yuki case..... but i see a lot people use 1680 puretime case. Now with the new Josh 1680 there is other option. Mine question in Phong case i need to modify the GC? The case of 1680 is same that use the Tudor? Obviously if i choose 1680 case, i save a lot of money.... What do you think?
TeeJay
I'm using one of these as a base for my Snowflake project, but that's because I wanted it to be fixed lug bars on NATO, rather than on a bracelet The lug etchings say 5517, but that's not really an important detail Best of luck with your own project
turnipz
Did that case you tried work, I figured it'd use a 28mm dial.
asf
Id love to use a cartel 1680 case, however i think those use larger dials. yuki dial is 26mm and I'd say the gen is about the same size too
turnipz
I've heard from someone on the other forum that the dial is smaller on the gen and his puretime didnt work. Hope that helps someone Edited March 8, 2011 by turnipz
sly
Another option (If you can find one) is an MBW 5513 case. Fits 26mm dial
