  1. I ordered a 1680 case right before chinese new year but they refunded my money and said they cannot make me one and get in touch with them after NY. Paid them again after CNY and refunded my money again. Reason was their master watch maker died????. Hopefully this is a new source as i believe they do not make their own case. I ended up buying a phong case.
  2. Awhile ago I wanted to build a midsize date for the wife using mostly gen parts but with a 2671 with a DW overlay. I wanted a his and hers as i have a gen. datejust. The hardest part was looking for a spacer and a datewheel to use as an overlay at that time until now it is very hard to find both parts and cases are easily available on the bay. I commissioned JMB to help me with the build especially with the spacer and datewheel. it's a no go as we cannot find a midsize datewheel and gen is very expensive so we went to plan b which is a no date midsize. Finding a no date dial without it being altered with diamonds is hard as well so i had one refinished with white roman. So i had the refinished dial and JMB making the spacer I had a nice no date midsize datejust. Fast forward to now, I found all the parts to build a datejust with all gen parts. If anybody just has the midsize case, crown and crystal PM me I might be able to work something out and do a partial trade. Thanks for looking
  3. This took awhile but there she is. bad pics for now.
  4. From what i know. The DW 1680 fits in a yuki 1680 case.
  5. It's on the high side and with patience i can get a gen caseback for a little bit more than his price
  6. I am waiting on a phong mid case to arrive to finish my project. The problem is i only bought the mid case and i still need a case back for the meantime till i find a gen. Does anybody know which cheap sub i can buy and just use the caseback temporarily. Also if there is someone who has a spare caseback that they are not using please let me know. The measurement i need is 30.80mm diameter on the thread side. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  7. I wasnt referring to just the case. I have the whole watch.
  8. If the OP is Interested. I have a gen. Tudor princess that will be listed soon on the classified section. Thanks
  9. Wow, that's long. Yuki told me that they won't. Be able to make my case until after new year week.

    Yuki Case

Not sure how he will fix it. All i can think off is machining a ring and glue it on the rehaut. Let us kbow how it turns out. Still on the hunt for a case that will work with all gen parts. Please let me know if anyone wants to part with their case if you have a spare or abandoning a project. Thanks

    Yuki Case

Anybody have a 5512 case for a gen. Movement that they want to part with. Still not sure if yuki has fixed the Rehaut problems. I am desperate to build my 5512 and appreciate anyone who can help. NDT and phong is not in my budget right now so any affordable case will work for me. Thanks
  13. I ordered one of these cases before and sadly my gen dial did not fit. I think the one i got is a 1680 case stamped 5513. In the end i sold the case to another member. If he now has a case that will fit a 26mm dial i'll be all over it.
  14. That is because a gen 5513 dial measures 26mm same as a 1680 mbw case. Gen spec. 1680 case measures 26.5mm in diameter

be aware that the DW 1680 case will only fit a 26.5mm dial. Last time i ordered from him he said it was for a 5512/13 and my 26mm dial would fit but it is still the 1680 case that he uses and will only fit a 26.5 mm dial
  16. Hmmmm, My own 2 cents is not agreeing on what you are trying to show or say. I mostly see this on threads like "check out my new Gen. Dial I just bought"
  17. my 1680 on gen. bezel, insert & crystal approx 2.45mm
  18. I know that "J" too very good guy.
