  1. Here's some quick pics. I will update later with better pics, Not too happy with the rehaut.
  2. Get a 2783 on ebay perfect for the project.
  3. This is done and CG's are being worked on. I will post pics as soon as it comes back
  4. There was a thread here regarding one of the cheap cases fitting a gen dial. Yuki and gen dial measures around 26.2mm i went the expensive route with yuki case, yuki dial, gen. 2784 and gen hands. With JMB's ability to engrave casebacks no need to get a yuki.
  5. Very nice, Someday I hope i have the time to build one.
  6. Thanks, The case and band is the only thing that is left in this watch. everything else have been sold, You can get the pearl from ofrei.com
  7. Will do, But with a new case soon
  8. NIce, Let me know if you find a good value case

    1680 case back

Ok, Got the answer myself on this one. Per Yuki's email their caseback is built to gen spec. So it will work on a gen 1680 case.
  10. Anybody know if a yuki case back or other rep. case back will fit a gen 1680 case. If anybody has one let me know, As always appreciate the help.
  11. Very nice J, How does it compare to the yuki engravings.
  12. A lot of Tudor lovers will be happy with this
  13. Yeah, Let us know what kind of case you used. Awesome watch & case
  14. As some of you might remember I purchased a no date OP with a 1570 movement thinking you can just put a date wheel on it and off you go. WRONG, It cannot be done without spending a lot of money and time hunting for parts. What do I do since I already have it, Buy a Gen. 5512 dial & hands (Stupid I think). Now i need a case for this, Anybody have a nice one for this project that they don't. need, Hit me up.
  15. A, The dial is washed and the hands I don't. think is a service. You are correct that I should have the 93150 on this one. Yuki had the 93250 without the SEL's which I used for this one. If I find a reasonably priced gen. I'll get it. Thanks M, This build is just how I was inspired by you to build my 1016. I wish I could bring it to the next level like yours. Too many projects right now aside from work and having a 2 yr. old. I am a believer in that too. This is a watch that i keep coming back too when it comes to taking it to the next level. I hope I'm done with this one:). With the amount of money you spend on a project especially like this one, One would ask, Is it worth it, To someone like me who loves having something that's not out of the box, Yes it is. Considering I could have purchased a gen if you add up all the expenses when this watch started as an all yuki with ETA 2846. Thanks
  16. Very nice J. I guess your wife likes the classic small DJ while my wife is the opposite she loves the midsize DJ. Just got the band resized on the ladies OP and she is wearing it everyday.
  17. 1570 is now going to my 5512 build, Sorry.
  18. Band link screws, Very annoying because sometimes you cant get the screws off.
  19. Very nice watch, I especially like your 1570 experience. If you remember, It is exactly the same thing that happen to me.
  20. I will have to check when I get home. I was also reading Vly's thread and that was earlier than mine. Crossing my fingers.
  21. Thanks guys, Hopefully by this weekend everything will be together. Can't. wait to wear this one.
  22. If i'm not mistaken around july 2010, How about yours.
