5513 crackle dial next on the list????? -
Most of Crockey's parts was passed on to me for my 9411 build with a yuki tudor case.
-
This my first time with a lume shot, Hands are from yuki so they do not glow as much as the dial. Here you go. Got this from a fellow member here, I think this is a newer one. With just a little trimming it fits very well, Not really sure where this endlink was originally sourced. Dial and insert was a package deal from VRF

Really appreciate the input guys, Thanks

Thanks for the compliments, Teejay. Not enough wrist time yet to say it's comfy, but will let you know.

Just wanted to share my 5513 with you guys and get some input on the MBW case that it currently resides in. I am used to the yuki case on my 1680 that I wear everyday so the MBW is a little different on my wrist. It seems like the case is big or maybe it's just me, How far is this case to gen specs. Sorry for the not so great pics. As Always, Thanks to all the helpful members here. This has: - Gen. Service dial - Gen. Insert - Gen. Crown - Clark Crystal - ETA 2783 under the hood. Merry Christmas, Sly

Another nice piece J

FYI,Just measured my snowflake dial that just arrived and it is 26.13mm
-
My Gen 5513 Dial(26.2mm) fits perfectly on an MBK 5513 case as well. My MBK 5513 case was originally for a tudor 9411 snowflake project but decided to build a 5513 first.

--- Sorry hit the submit button twice...

I think the MBW 5513 case will work for this project.

Do you still wear your Reps even after buying Gen?
sly replied to naeems's topic in General Discussion
I mostly use my franken and wear my gen. once in a while now. -
Thanks for the reply stilty. We are just going to make this as simple as possible and avoid the DW problems. Going with a No date and an ETA 2671 with JMB maching a spacer for the movement. Will the Gen 2035 & 2135 hands fit on an ETA if so I will go that route. Thanks

I am switching this project to a no date dial to avoid the problems with the overlay. This is becoming a more expensive project but it will be worthwhile to give to the wife for christmas (Hopefully it will make it). Here's my new dial on gen. plate enhancement is still being added like the railroad tracks & swiss made in between the Roman VI. Still waiting for the gen crown & crystal.

Hey Guys, Here's a project that I have been wanting to do for a while now. Found a Gen. 31mm case on the bay and a Roman date dial. As you can see on the picture it is a perfect fit, JMB is helping me with this project. Before I start buying the crystal and gen crown I need help on how to go about the DW overlay problem. First plan was to use a 2836 but will not fit in the case so moving on with an ETA 2671 with Justin Machining a movement spacer. The DW is the only problem we can see right now, If anybody can help customizing an overlay for this project or know where to source one let me know. Last resort is just to find a No date dial which I am having a hard time locating one with no diamonds . Any help would be great. Thanks Sly
