I had this plan for a while now but it's been set aside due to other projects. After seeing Ronin's 1680 inspired me to finish this project. Originally this was a yuki case with yuki dial, ETA 2846, yuki hands, pmwf insert w/ofrei pearl & yuki 93250 band. I disassembled this and sold everything and left the case and the band. Stay tuned for assembled pics.
- Gen. White Dial
- Gen. hands
- Gen. 127 crystal
- Gen. Insert
- 1570 taken out from a Gen. 1680
- Yuki Case
- yuki 93250 band
Was looking for a gen. bezel and got distracted and bought a gen. 5512 dial / hands as I already have a no date 1570 movement but that is a topic for another day. Hit me up if anybody has a gen 1680 bezel for sale.

Hi Guys,
Anybody know if the 1570 is the appropiate movement for the 5512. I have a 1570 no date movement and know someone who is selling me a service dial and hands. Let me know.
Thanks
Sly
I think what Star meant was not all rep cases are built the same. So a case back from one watch might not fit on another even if it's sourced from the same seller, Different factories make these watches.
J, You know I've been trying hard to build my Tudor Collection. Too many Diversions I guess. I want to see that Oysterdate
M, Sounds Good to me I still haven't. forgotten that offer, If the time comes and it's still available I'll jump on it.
The 6444 just had a new crystal and I gotta admit that J's love for the silver dial has influenced me.
Just wanted to share my newly acquired 1002 powered by a 1570. Originally purchased just for the movement but didn't. work out as planned, Instead this will be a project. I will show pics when it's done, Here's some pics with the family.
1002 & 1601
1002, 1601, 6444 & Tudor Princess Oysterdate
I know that 5513's was powered by a 1520/1530 but this has to go somewhere. Besides, I thought i bought the for a great price and couldn't. Pass it up.
That's what I'm afraid of, Now time to resell this thing Oh wait, I have a 1016 with a 1601 case and a 5513 MBW with Gen. dial and Insert. Maybe time to buy a Yuki 5513 case and drop the 1570 movement there. List just goes on..............
Hi Guys,
Need a little help, Just Purchased a Rolex 1002 No date with a 1570 movement for a good deal. I plan on using this 1570 to power my 1680. Question for all the experts is what will I need to convert this into a date movement (aside from the date wheel). Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks
Sly
Haha, I bet you he won't. J, has the 1016 right now. It's the same 1016 you saw before but just with a 1601 case. For sure I will post pics when I get it.
