One is to install gen bezel (optional since the rep bezel is pretty good already), two is take crystal off for AR coating. Do I really need to remove the bezel before popping the crystal out?
sneed12 Posted February 18, 2011 Report Posted February 18, 2011 You don't need to remove the bezel to remove the crystal. As for the screws, why don't you take a screwdriver to them and see what happens? If you're careful there's no way you'll break anything.
sneed12 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 I just tried the screws on my SOH and they are totally fake. They aren't even screws, just screw heads riveted into the holes.

Same thing as you found, thus i don't think we can change the bezel unless we damage the existing one. Or... wait, maybe if the bezel insert is off, we can expose some secrets. I don't know if I want to try mine yet.
