daevildog
Not wanting to create yet another orthodox 6152/1, I decided to incorporate some twists to the usual vintage build. Most importantly, a Hamilton 917 was utilized... an amazingly well-built and beautifully finished movement that remains sorely under appreciated!!! Specifics: -DSN 6152 Case set - Reshaped and Refinished -Thick Plexi (Courtesy of Andy Schuhren) - Resized -Southy Creme MM Dial -Hamilton 917 -Custom Handset - refinished with Tamiya Gold (PS-13) -WatchLume Gmax/Vintage Lume -Okabum CG (Modified lever arm from DSN CG) -Okabum Crown/Crown Tube -NW Seethrough Caseback with curved plexi -Lugs - drilled with lugbars -Antiquewatchstrap Vintage Strap The completed watch... Group picture with the new addition to the family... Thanks for looking...
