nnyljh Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Gents, Got these QC shots and would like to solicit opinion on whether this is a good sample or not. Being a novice, the only thing I can spot is the DW, is it sitting to high up or am I off base here. Anything else out of whack I missed? TIA!
ianGP Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Looks good mate! Looks like you got the updated rehaut too and your bezel screws look good. I don't see much else to scrutinize. Just make sure the chrono resets to zero and the sec@12 isn't choppy. Great buy! I'm looking for one in the CONUS already.... and I've got a sh!tton of watches on my list but this is close to the top
edgematic1 Posted February 22, 2011 Report Posted February 22, 2011 Looks great! And indeed the updated dial , nice choice on rubber!
nnyljh Posted February 22, 2011 Author Report Posted February 22, 2011 Wow! Lightening fast responses....it's amazing. Thanks for the assurance on the bezel, screws, etc... To clarify on the DW question I brought up in the opening post. Do you think there's too much white space below "24" compared to the top? Is it the angle of the pic or that's the way it is, or is it off center? Just want to be sure, better to scrutinize it now rather than after getting it.
nnyljh Posted February 22, 2011 Author Report Posted February 22, 2011 Re the rubber strap. Yeah I figure since the leather strap is not great I probably will get a real hornback made(more $$ sigh...) so mind as well have something usable in the mean time.
Edwin25 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Looks good to me! Who s the dealer? E.
nnyljh Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 Edwin25, Thanks! Got it from josh...with a big red bold disclaimer that one should not post QC pics. But you know what, one's got to do what he's got to do.
Mickey Padge Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 The date is fine, you cannot call bad QC because you think the date should be half a mm lower! My Gen Breitling SFSO has a date positioned in the exact same way
nnyljh Posted February 23, 2011 Author Report Posted February 23, 2011 Hi Mickey, Yep....really my ignorance than anything else Even though I have seen the gen volcano a year ago at an AD just don't remember where the date was really sitting.
Guest Sql_pl Posted February 23, 2011 Report Posted February 23, 2011 Wow I really love Volcano after these updates on rehaut and dial!!
