But if that is right and he doesnt want to swap in a 7753 ETA or Asian then the other option is to remove the gears above the DW that run the minute subdial, that the reason the DW is sunken.... Now you lose the chrono minute function but you can lift the DW no problem but if its a rep DW then best change that at the same time...
