Ronin Posted March 9, 2011 Report Share Posted March 9, 2011 No. There was even documentation from various manufactures about semi-quick-stetting dates on non-quickset movements by rocking back and forth between 10 after midnight and 20 til midnight. I think the turning backwards is part myth, or only applies to very specific movements. If you go backwards, go back at least :20 then forward to the time you want.
