SirWankAlot1337
I just bought my first replica and I decided on the classic Submariner. When i read on the forum everywhere that ALL the WM9's are long gone, I get confused. I bought my Sub from PT and it clearly says in the description that it is in fact a WM9. Is it possible that it is a Wm9? or am I fooled? I will post pictures when it arrives so it will be easier to help me out. Thanks.
Guest zeleni kukuruz
Yes its a wm9 but its vesion 1 (V1) and pt sells them But the wm9 V2/V3 subs are gone with George (Wm9)! From what i read the v1 is also good not as good as the v2 and v3. You have much info here on rwg (best forum out there). But if you ask me the v2 is the best have your eyes open and your ears from time to time a v2 will show up in the sells section! SirWankAlot1337
Thanks! I have a little regret that i didn't but Bk's noobmariner, looks as if it's better than WM9 V1. Yours are looking great! First pic is a little scary though Have you any experience of water resistance on your watches? How much have you dared to try? I have showerd, bath, and even snorkeld with it as long as the crown is screwed down NO problem. Ask pt about the v1 i bet you could swim with it But you need to do some mods on it if you like it to look good. Shave cg, new insert, relume and bklm date overlay! Then if you have the money go for a gen cristal, gen crown and tube!
SirWankAlot1337
Wow, that sounds awesome. If I have the time and the money, i will certainly modify it!

Jkay
Any good watch repair shop has a water resistance tester. Do not just trust your replica to be water tight. Have it checked
