Lew
Gentlemen, and of course Ladies I am looking for some assistance in finding a watch valuator in Herts, UK, for a genuine valuation on a Henry Capt, Half Hunter, Repeater Pocket Watch. It is Circa 1848 is in immaculate condition and perfect working order. I am doing this as a favour on behalf of a friend who has been unsettled by some of the characters that he has contacted on the web, he also knows Albert Hall about watches. Many thanks in advance for any help given. Apologies for phone pics. Regards RRT
subbiesrock
20 pounds... I'll give you 30 because I'm a nice guy Make sure to have it valued by several people, a unique piece like this will surely do well at auction. Good luck. PeteM
You really need to try the Vintage forums mate... But assuming its kosher and all original which is simple to tell as everyting is vewable and depending if its solid gold etc plus which repeater or complications it has then I have seen these at a few hundred up to a few grand. Problem is the current market/economy might limit its potential so if it doesnt need to be sold it might be better to wait mate.
