hiker01
Been trying to capture this sucker and this is the best I could do: Camera: Nikon D90, Aperture Priority Mode Lens: Nikkor AF-S 55-200VR, VR set to On, Manual Focus Kenko Extension Tubes 36mm+20mm and then some: Thanks for looking! Ya 'ole have a nice weekend.....mine started early!
freddy333
Great pics. You caught the etching just right. Here is a gen service dial etching from my GMTIIC, which is a bit smaller than the etching on rep crystals. If you look at the lower portion of the reflection, you can just about make out the sideways 'S' inside the hole at the bottom of the crown
hiker01
Thanks D-! Yup.....I've read that the AD's use this particular crystals when they replace them during service!
freddy333
Yup.....I've read that the AD's use this particular crystals when they replace them during service! Not sure about ADs, but service crystals (marked 'S') are what Rolex fits.
