I'm sure you can, search for watch servicing or something along those lines. I know there are a couple modders in the US, I'm sure there are some in your neck of the woods! I'm a fan of the bigger watches like the Panerais, Planet Ocean 45.5, the BR01-92/94, I have a DSSD on the way... There are so many to choose from!
