chefcook Posted April 9, 2011 Report Share Posted April 9, 2011 Hello Guys, I know that there must be asian replacement cases for vintage Omega PloProfs out there - watches with those cases show up on eBay every now and then. The big question is: Where to find 'em? I want one, but no one has one, knows a supply or ever saw a single case for sale. I already sent Yuki an email as he has access to at least the asian Seamaster 300 rep cases, maybe he knows more about PloProf cases, too... Have you guys seen one so far? Regards! frankt Posted April 9, 2011 Report Share Posted April 9, 2011 IIRC, all those "faux" Plops that were sold "back in the day" were of Vietnamese origin, with hand made cases, designed solely to SWINDLE folks!!...I would be very surprised to learn that there was ever any "production runs" on those cases.
