bert24 Posted April 14, 2011 Report Share Posted April 14, 2011 So I got a 318L by reading this amazing forum and when I received it I thought it needed a proper strap. I first bought a black, croc style strap from panatime. It's ok but not amazing and it looks pretty classic on this watch. Then I started to look for vintage straps and I considered buying a swiss army from straptimus (a member posted a topic not that long ago about his straptimus strap). The quality of this straps seems amazing and I'll probably buy one from them in the future. And from blog to blog I finally landed on a fantastic website "the strapsmith". So I chose a vintage V2 and since the order it has been 4 weeks exactly (straps are handmade upon request, so you can choose anything you want, but you have to wait a little ^^). This is a real vintage leather since it's from ammo pouch of WW1 and the smell and feel are just incredible. I'll let the pictures do the talking (pardon my poor photographic skills...).
