Ocean Racer (REP) Is it worth $98?

For $98 that the rep costs, I can get GEN pro II rubber w/tang buckle. Which would you buy?

I've got both, the gen Pro Divers are really nice but rather delicate IMvHO

If you like to 'strap' down the case real tight, get the rep since the gen will look beat-up a lot sooner

The GEN pro II rubber w/tang buckle will wear badly on a small wrist, the deployant buckle is a much better and more comfortable fit.....

I have a GEN Pro Diver I and II. I like them both. Very comfortable and wear nicely. I would always say get a GEN item over a rep.

GEN dive straps are garbage,and priced accordingly.

The OR strap (rep and gen) is not bad,i would take it over a dive.

Only thing that worries me on rep OR is the clasp, are they secure, I've heard bad stuff of them?

Well the OR clasp doesn't close as tight as the gen

but none of mine have ever popped open yet
