The new Heritage Nato

woof*

Recommended Posts

Came home for lunch and the new Nato was in my mailbox.

I removed the bracelet to find the solid endlinks come off just like the vintage non sel bracelet. For those of you that plan to install a Nato, plan on replacing the springbars too.

The springbars that come stock on this watch are really thin and cheap, so I replaced them with some that were a bit thicker.

The new Nato is a very nice color scheme and probably the closest to the gen Nato, but be warned..this is not heavy duty. It is pretty thin material like some of the cheap Nato's I have purchased from ebay.

Not junk..just not as heavy as the better made ones.

so....here it is!

Looking good, my man, I've gotta get one of those for mine :tu::drinks: With regards the springbars, if you ever plan on replacing the bracelet, do not throw those springbars. Might just be my own experience, but I found replacing the bracelet to be harder than any other watch I've owned, and requires the bars to flex quite a bit to slot home in the lugs.

On a side note about the NATO, if you want to get it more accurate to the Tudor-supplied NATO, you'll need to remove the short 'back strap', but of course, that's a personal preference :good:
