Shipping from Norway is very expensive so its cheaper to buy new reps instead of sending abroad for modding. I will use toothpaste and electric tootbrush. LOL! I hope it will work Any comments ? sul Posted April 27, 2011 Report Share Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) CP swap is very easy and definitely "strongly recommended " mod for any PAM with 6497. Easy DIY. This instruction from http://vintagewatchparts.co.uk/index.php?id=15.is very good. Even "best of the best" rep`( 005, 026 etc) will have not so good CP from factory. CP height is ok, but these CP are not flattened or polished. You need to do all this also, only CP swap is pointless. BTW, Wwhat do you mean by: I will use toothpaste and electric tootbrush?
