rwgforumfan
Looking to buy my first rep. Any thoughts on these 2 Breguets? Are they accurate reps with reliable movements or ticking time bombs as the moon phase can get very complicated? Thanks! http://www.1-pc8838.com/br10007-chronocalendermoon-phase-black-working-mchrono-p-3430.html http://www.1-pc8838.com/br10014-classique-chronograph-silver-manual-working-chronos-p-1304.html Edited May 24, 2011 by rwgforumfan
gran
1. The movement is an Venus 175 (not Lemania)and is one of the most reliable movements 2. They are replicas yes and obviously far from the genuine thing..(movements are very different for a start)..but you can simply look at the pictures and compare directly with the genuine yourself (silly noob)

It does not resemble any known model from Breguet but has a general resemblance to the Classique line. Where it is completely wrong is the black colour which to my knowledge is only used for the less expensive XX line. The second one is a pretty good rep of an older model (Gen on top, rep underneath - (sorry I don't know how to size the pics to match)): For a more complete review, look here: http://repgeek.com/showthread.php?t=77662&highlight=breguet Good luck with your first purchase, and let us know (with pictures) what you buy. Vuggy
Unfortunately the rep is 40mm whereas the gen is 36mm. Sux
mbjoer
That's right. However I think I have reached a point where I find 36mm very small. So for me it is a case of rep being better than Gen.
