twall Posted May 28, 2011 Report Share Posted May 28, 2011 Hello, all! Glad to be a part of the forum! I belong to a few forums, and when I find a topic I love, i tend to be very active. Two things I love: lawn mowers and watches. Common theme? They are machines, and I love machines! (Being a machinist helps out here!) I am particualrly intrigued by the microscopic machines known as mechanical watches, Chinese or not, I have found some really nice timepieces. I have quite a few watches, but my favorite is the Andre Rivalle Swiss jump hour from the 70's that my dad gave me over 25 years ago. I'll use a pic of it as my avatar, if I can..... I have perused many watch forums, and they mostly have the same two themes: they either have no participation, or they are dedicated to only high-end gen stuff. This forum seems more my style. For the cost of a gen Rolex, I can have a whole COLLECTION of neat stuff from China!! Thanks in advance, and I look foward to contributing.
