kingkaiser
Hi all - one of my A7750 movements has a little bit of an issue "waking up". It function perfectly otherwise, but it takes forever for the watch's power reserve to start up, unless I wind it by hand. Once its ticking though, it will continue for weeks if its on my arm. We all know that winding an A7750 isnt such a good idea, so I've taken to hacking the movement when I know I wont wear the watch for a few days so that the next time i do wear it, it'll be ready to go and wont need winding. Was wondering if this causes any damage to the watch, potentially drying out the oil inside or something? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks all! asf
I was thinking the same thing since I do that to my AP ROO. will that dry up the o ring?
kbh
It certainly won't affect the oil in the movement and I honestly doubt if it could hurt an o-ring. The only downside I can think off is if the tube doesn't have an o-ring inside it could let in moisture if left open in an area of high humidity.
