Physher007 Posted May 29, 2011 Report Posted May 29, 2011 I just ordered a DJ and the pics come through. It is a two tone with a fluted bezel, white dial with markers. The problem is date wheel is gold... My question is this - would this be a fantasy model? Is there such a thing as a fantasy model with DJ (considering all of the aftermarket dials, etc)?
alligoat Posted May 30, 2011 Report Posted May 30, 2011 Gold datewheels on TT DJs are fine. This is one of those gray areas which can go either way. You're more likely to see a white DW on a silver dialed TT DJ. A gold dialed TT DJ should have a gold DW. An SS DJ will have a white datewheel.
Physher007 Posted June 1, 2011 Author Report Posted June 1, 2011 Thats kind of what I was thinking, I was expecting the watch to look just like the one you posted (but fluted bezel) - but turns out it is coming with a gold dw. I will post pics when it comes. Not sure how I feel about it right now, but I may end up loving it... who knows
