steve92b Posted October 16, 2006 Report Posted October 16, 2006 Here’s my first picture posting, I think I've got it figured out. These were taken a couple of years ago, I no longer have the watch. I bought it on eBay direct from a Chinese dealer. It’s the Asian automatic movement with the 24hr indicator at 6, the day at 9 & the month at 3. The bezel rotated but the slide-rule markings weren’t fine enough for an accurate reading. I got two watches for £50 including postage & Western Union charges. This one worked fine, the other packed up within a week. I’ve included a picture of the genuine article, displayed in a shop window in London’s New Bond Street. As you can see the face isn’t very accurate but for the price it was a bargain. I tried another Chinese dealer direct the next month but he kept my money without sending the watch so I gave up that avenue of buying. You learn by your mistakes.
andreww Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 It would be nice to see a decent rep of this watch. Of course the second hand being at 3:00 presents a problem!
