Panerai Curiosity....

being a pretty much dedicated rolex guy for quite some time, i have never gotten to know the panerai's models that well.

I think that i would like to add one of these beauties to my collection, but to be honest, the names of these watches are a tad confusing.

this is the watch that i would like a rep of (ignore the strap)

Well... Mine is a 3646 Radiomir 'homage' with a watchmaster dial. I built mine before any of the current 3646's were out, so I had no choice except to use the 45mm Blackseal case. No biggie anyways... The 45mm is about as big as I can really go in terms of size.

Currently waiting for a thick plexi crystal for it... Still trying to decide if I want the vintage hands or not. I never wear it, but since it's one of the first pieces I built, it has some sentimental value to me...

As for the genuine- The 3646 Radiomirs were motivated by Rolex/Cortebert movements. So... There is still a bit of Rolex relation in these watches

so technically, it'll just be another rolex rep, lolol, sweet, now i dont have to feel guilty.

thinking of going for the 47mm, i just dont want to end up making my rollies feel tiny, and i'm not a big guy, but i like massive watchs.
