Submariner LV from Narikaa + new bezel and pearl?

Heya guys,

fairly new to the community and was looking for a little help. I recently ordered a Submariner 16610LV from Reg (Narikaa) to get my feet wet.

My question to you is: I am interested in replacing the pearl and possibly the bezel. Will a Gen bezel insert fit into this rep? Also, is there anywhere you guys would recommend getting a replacement pearl and/or bezel for this model (doesn't necessarily have to be gen, just better)?

I would love any advice and maybe any other suggestions to make this great starter rep just a little better :)

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum... Gen LV bezel inserts are pretty hard to find and will cost you way more then the complete watch you just brought...

Cheers

I believe it is a noobmariner LV. That is fine that a regulation will not fit. Are there any better bezels that will? What is the best pearl other than genuine you would recommend.. the watchmaterial one?

Unfortunately, no. There are not parts commercially available for the Noob. I have one and I changed out the insert for a Watch Material insert and it worked great. Just follow the instructions to sand down the outside diameter of the insert. If you are careful it might even pop it in without glue.

Also, it is advisable that you not try to remove the bezel ring. It has been done but most of the time the ring is bent and will not reinstall. To change the insert you must pop out the pearl and then insert something into the hole that is left and pry out the insert, thereby destroying it. You are going to install a new one anyway...right. About the only gen part you can install is a crown and even it requires drilling and tapping for fit.

Other than these things the Noobmariner is a great watch.
