Update:

I open up the watch and it is paint chip for sure... some paint just flaked off when I open it. With some black permanent fine tip marker and some patience under the loupe, I managed to make it look ok... You can still see a little of the black paint at the 41 to 43 mark. But it look just fine in normal viewing distance...

Mine is perfect (or damn near). I found 1 tiny flaw which is not noticable to the naked eye.

I'm leaving her along.....

I hear you. Let's be honest, you can't see this flaw under normal magnification

For those with breaking bracelets, are they falling off when broken or do they tend to hold on a bit still? I am worried about the potential drop to concrete factor on these watches should the bracelet brake at a bad time...
