That's only one example of the service that you get when you buy genuine......there are literally hundreds of similar episodes....faulty product.....slooooowww......service.....etc etc.

That's why I get [censored] off when someone jumps on here and starts whinging that it took 10 days to sort out a problem......buy genuine at the price and then start howling.

i agree with ttk, last time i had a gen rolex, it took rolex nyc 3 months to service it, and it was like $600 if i recall correct, and, they're not the nicest people either.

AD experience:

Breguet - 3 months, $1,000 for service and polishing

Breitling - 2 months, $850 new crystal service and polish

Cartier - 2months, $600 service

AP - Water into movement. $1500 for quartz movement. Currently a paperweight.

Breguet Reveil de Tsar- $2000 just for dropping on the floor when the deployant clasp failed! (Still at Breguet factory, almost 4 months now)

AP Royal Oak Chrono- Servicing and refinish cost more than $1200, took 2 months (fast for AP)
