Blackcat
After what appears to be a pointless months long search, I can't seem to find a decent blue/gold sub rep. I tried the frankenstein route, but that's not working for me either. In fact I just scored a mint gen dial for a great price only to have no suitable case to put it in. I'm seriously thinking of liquidating all my reps (including my WM9) and just going gen. A WM9 tt would be my only real option for a rep, and that's just not happening, as nobody will sell there's. Anybody else ever been in this position where you just can't find what your after? Advice? Frustration mounts........

woof*
Jewelry Outlet on ebay has gold bezels, use your dial and find a gen, or even good rep TT bracelet..your good to go.
sneed12
Just convert your WM9 into a tt, you've already got the dial Another good point, if you have a WM9 Sub you can convert to TT with bezel, bracelet, crown, dial, and bezel insert. Not too much stuff. You could even do that to one of the currently available TW's.
Blackcat
All bands don't work with all cases. For instance, what I really want is a 16613 with a glidelock. For starters I took the glidelock of may GMTc tt and tried to put it on another sub I had. The end links fit, but the spring bar holes are in the wrong positions so the end links don't match up. I'm told some watches have bands made just for them and won't fit anything else. Beyond all this, you still have the problem of gold wear on a tt rep band. Bottom line is I think without knowing it I talked myself into a gen.

glennmichael
BK said the TW will take the gen bezel, but it won't turn. Slight correcton - The TW will take a Gen Bezel but you need to install a Gen crystal retaining ring as well..
ghost
Why not buy the sean 1:1 case?
Blackcat
Why not buy the sean 1:1 case? I'll give you 460 reasons. ($) Who's got a link to Jewlery outlet? Much appreciated. I'm looking at a TW based conversion with mods to the bezel mechanism so the gen bezel will turn. I have the gen dial, and need the 18k bezel, and a gen insert. The biggest trick is getting an solid aftermarket 18k band that will work with a rep glide lock clasp. Any advice or links to the various parts and pieces would be appreciated. (I have several, but new ones are always good)
