tenacious_b Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 I noticed this when I got the watch; a small (less than .5mm) between the case back lip and the case. I have taken it to two watch repair shops, and none of them can screw it down any further. I don't want to bother Eddie with this, so what are my options? I want to be able to waterproof this watch, so this is a big deal for me...please help
ubiquitous Posted October 19, 2006 Report Posted October 19, 2006 Have you tried threading the back down without the anti-magnetic cover? If not... I'd try that first. If the caseback threads down the same regardless... Try getting it tested for water resistance anyways (despite the gap). This will tell you if there is really a problem in sealing, or if, perhaps, the gap is a non-issue.
