Waterproof test results - Some bubbles

I just picked up a Bergeon 5555/98 water pressure tester. I figured over time, this baby would save me money and pay for itself. I travel and swim a lot.

I followed the instructions and the first watch I tested was a Spinmaster already water tested Daytona. Spin tests these to 3 ATM. I did observe some bubbles around the pushers and top of bezel - nothing continuous but a few bubbles.

Is this normal or do I have a problem?

Next up, a Ceramic Sub C sealed up and greased by PBDad. No guarantees from PB. A couple of bubbles around the bezel then nothing. This one looks good to me.

I will go throughout the watch box later.

Ay input would be appreciated for the Daytona.

Thanks

You are compressing the air in the chamber 3x .. so the tiny bubbles trapped in the crevices of the watch will expand to 3x their size when you release the pressure and conduct the test ... so YES that is perfectly normal.

If the watch was leaking from inside, 3x the internal volume of the case would come rushing out as a continuous bubble avalanche. Thats a lot of bubbles.
