whats with the dust?

Hi,

i recently got a Panerai, with its rubber bracelet....and god damn it, it dusty ALL the time....is it electrostatic? Normal thing? Cheapo (yes is is, but quite nice...)?

Try using a rubber/vinyl cleaner/protectant. I use Meguiar's and It does seem to help keep the dust from developing as quickly.

Under advice from the board I dropped mine in boiling water and then doused it in baby oil. Seemed to work fine, getting rid of the weird smell and electrostatic properties.

Those h factory straps I've had never really collected dust unless it was in crevaces
