Pugwash
Why yes, you can! Now, the front isn't very pretty because the hour and minute wheels are a little low and that means bending the hands up, but I've got longer wheels on order and will show you the finished product when it's done. dbutlerman
Nice pug, but why did you do the swap?
Pugwash
Nice pug, but why did you do the swap? Because I could? Ok, the 2824 in it had issues and rather than replace it, I used a spare 2892 movement. The 2892, as we all know, is a better movement than the 2824 and is the same as the Omega 2500, apart from the coaxial escapement. In other words, it sounds the same as a gen when you swirl it in your hand and it feels like one when you wind it. But, like I said, I mostly did it because I could. dbutlerman
Got it! I thought it was cause you could. Did you change the retaining ring, or did it fit directly?

dbutlerman
Sweet! That means is could be done with the 42mm PO too. You'd just have to buy taller hour wheel and seconds pinion? Probably seconds too huh...
