ucsbsig
So, the 292k I ordered from a TD arrived today. Good news is that the watch looks great. Now for the bad news. When I first unscrewed the crown to its supposed winding position, it would not wind. Instead the hands started moving. When I attempted to pull the crown out to adjust the time, the crown assembly fell off. So I've contacted my TD and he's instructed me to ship back the watch for repairs. I've attached a pic...don't mind the small 24mm JV strap...was just testing out how it would look before ordering the larger version. Have other 292k owners experienced a similar problem? Or did I just get unlucky and receive a lemon? This is my first rep purchase so I'm a bit disappointed to say the least.
prdubis
Open the caseback, insert the stem in the movement and tighten the screw... That's an (very) easy fix. --- I am here: http://maps.google.com/maps?ll=43.382125,-1.654891
ilanB
Got the same problem AFTER the watch was back from the dealer to correct the lugs falling off ( which he didn't ). Now the watch won't move and either I will find a friendly watchmaker to open it and fix it or again 3 months trip to the dealer hoping it will be fixed now.
