freddy333
Did you order the stem for a 2836-2?
al qaeda with cheese
Yes. But looking closer I think i pushed the release too hard and now it will not pop back up. Call this a learning experience! Cheese
freddy333
Who did you order the stem from & are you sure it is new/unused? New stems are always much longer than required & must be cut to fit. If your stem is too short, something is wrong.
al qaeda with cheese
Looking closer I think I screwed up when I pushed the release for the stem. Now it goes all the way in without the click and just turns. Screwed up! Thank you Cheese
freddy333
You will need to uncase the movement, remove the hands & dial & realign/reset the keyless works.

Jkay
I agree that you now need a pro to fix it.. We've all been there, so don't be bummed. What's your location and we'll suggest an inexpensive and qualified repair tech if we can.

Jkay
Chicago , IL Thank you for your help too. Katt watch service is a forum trusted (not this forum) watch tech shop in MN, and can fix your problem for a few dollars. send a mail to gkloner@gmail.com for shipping info. highly highly recommended. I just got 2 watches back from him yesterday, and they were only sent to him a week ago. $50 to fix both including shipping costs and PP fees. friendly, quick and good work.
