Dear Friends.

I am in Korea and it is my first time writing in Panerai forum.

Well recently I bought PAM 329L from Andrew.

He is good guy, and I am satisfied with most part of the watch.

One concern is the DW.

As you know, DW of REP PAM 329L is pretty much recessed.

I enclose pictures of my watch.

I took the picture with Iphone 3GS. The macro is not that good.

Anyway, does it look more recessed compared to normal REP 329?,

How about compared to GEN PAM 329?

I read that GEN PAM 329 is somewhat recessed as well.

Oh, Mine has A7750 as workhorse. I am wondering if Andrew's another choise-Seagull movement is better choice for better DW?

There is $20 GAP between two model (model with A7750 and model with Seagull movement.)

Maybe $20 GAP is for better DW? Does anyone have any idea on this?

Thank you very much!!!

Hey I found a good-info.

My watchsmith said that he can make the date wheel more thick so I would look less recessed! (As per Gen)

I will try this one and then post it later.

ThankS!!

Found this gen macro shot just now and remembered this thread.... its a 351 but all of these models have the same in house movement and DW so depth of DW is constant...

Thought it might help.. for clarification :)

That's a beautiful shot...Thanks for uploading it here.

My 328 too has a similarly recessed DW...I am glad the gen's recessed too....
