TmeShare Posted November 12, 2012 Report Share Posted November 12, 2012 The rep hornback sure goes on and off easier than any aftermarket from AP bands or Strapluxe. I did something similar. I took the back hornabck and uses black Tandy dye to change the color and black out the white stitching and then put the Tandy finish on the strap. Now the strap look and feels closer to real and on my new AP ROO Rubberclad Rose Gold it looks great. The cost is better than $350 and the rubber strap came off easy and the new hornback went on just as easy no untold hours like the aftermarket straps (a consideration with rose gold plating).
