kasigi
The spring bars that came with my Sub LV aren't very substantial, they seem quite flimsy. Would these ones be a suitable replacement? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SPRING-BAR-FOR-ROLEX...1QQcmdZViewItem Ta.
lionsandtigers
gonna have to drill the lugholes to use those 20mm springbars. there are about 400,000,000 threads on this, so just do a search and you'll be good to go. those springbars will not fit on the stock case, only after drilling. Jetsons
Any quality steel 20mm double shoulder type spring bar should do the trick. Something along these lines, http://cgi.ebay.com/Two-Rolex-20-mm-spring...VQQcmdZViewItem or by the kilo, http://cgi.ebay.com/DBL-SHOULDER-19-20MM-S...bayphotohosting The rep bars are fairly crappy . kasigi
Cool, those ones will fit without drilling?
Jetsons
Feek, with the LV you shouldn't have to drill assuming you have the correct case. It should be the new style case w/o the lug holes. You can probably pick up a pair of the 20mm double shoulder type anywhere for very little cash. Try that out before you spring for something more expensive. For OEM, you probably have to drill the bracelet and end links to accomodate the wider 2mm body of the spring bar. Linder
The springbars in the first link that Feek linked look like the ones my Rolex AD ordered for me from Rolex. If they're 2mm thick in the middle and 1.3mm thick on the ends, you'll definately have to drill the bracelet and part of the lugs to make it fit, though. ubiquitous
Here is a pic of a genuine Rolex springbar for the solid lug cases (20mm lugs)... Very sturdy... Very tight spring. No slipping with these guys!
