DW vintage Daytona - how to swap bezel?

Hi all, I have a mystery movement DW Daytona that's been in storage for awhile now and today I thought I'd take it out and try to swap the bezel from steel to an extra black plastic bezel I ordered when I bought the watch.

I used a tweezer tip covered with a rubber band, and the edge of a blunt butter knifr to pry up the bezel. it absolutely won't budge.

Can someone offer me any tips to pry off this bezel please?

You just have to keep working your way around the circumference. Use firm, but not excessive force &, eventually, it will slide off. If you are worried about damaging something, take it to a watchmaker & let him remove it for you. He ought to be able to do it while you wait (it only takes a few minutes).

Try using a razor blade and work it around until it comes loose. I use the heavy duty type blade that comes in a razor knife and it's never failed me.
