How to make an e-series movement closer to the real deal?

Hi Forum,

I might be wrong but I mean to remember a thread here or over on RG or RWI describing how to make an e-series movement (the old one with the panerai engraved bridges/ plates) looking closer the real deal (brushing the plates/ bridges etc.) . I did the search but got no results so far. I would appreciate it if you could give me an input
