tonyp1
Three questions, 1 is it possible to over-wind watch? Does is have a clutch? 2 Does it hurt this watch to run the chronographs like it does in the a7550s? 3 Well this is a statement, I may have over wind my watch. There's no rotor and that bugs me.. Ephry73
When you wind it enough, you will know. E
tonyp1
Is there a clutch? Is this a good movement?
Ephry73
From the GOOGLE searches it is a good movement. This is the same movement as the Lemania/Seagull copy ST19( I think). Once you reach full wound, you can tell. There is a ratchet wheel that holds the mainspring one way. What watch do you have? when you say you overwound it, what are the symptoms exactly? tonyp1
May have only over wound it by 1 and 1/2 turns. No symptoms YET. Will have to wait until the the main spring has discharged to see. I have joshes 6263. Edited October 30, 2011 by tonyp1
Ephry73
Nice watch. That has the same movement my 6263 has. Is yours setup to have the sub-dial at 6' frozen, or following the hour hand?
tonyp1
frozen the lower sub dial is too low
highoeyazmuhudee
the venus will stop winding once its at full reserve. you will feel the resistance in the crown, and it will feel un natural to push it further.
