Ephry73
It's not super correct for the project, but it is a gen movement that I can use. Just not sure if to use this for the snowflake, or to use it sans-date for the 7922 big crown. What do you guys think? E

Ephry73
ETA 2763. I cannot cross reference it to any Subs, but I think the Prince may have gotten this movement. It's running smooth right now and winds tight. I wanted the .390 or 116*, but for the price, it will have to do. Beats at 21,600, but that's ok Looks a lot like the 1180 in this E
woof*
Nice! Where are you finding all these unusual movements!
Ephry73
Same place you lurk at my friend I ordered a freaking big crown case and got the case with a DJ crown on it. Sooooo mad. I'm not crazy about these Silix cases though. The crystal mounting is the same as the newer sub cases, which without a gasket, won't seal too much. I will just have to order a 5513 cheap trevor watch and go with that. One thing I know is that when I send Justin the case back, I may need him to fabricate a spacer ring depending on the case I end up using. TeeJay
I'd say to go with the Snowflake, but that's just my .2c
Ephry73
The date wheel is very nice though and I like the fonts. It is also brushed metal, not white laminate or paint. Hmm, decisions, decisions. I Can always save the date wheel for the 2784 movement, and use this movement for the 7922. I definitely want to get that one built. BTW, Tee, I have the snowflake movement(2784) the 9401 dial(from Ken, but I "fixed" it) and hands. Just waiting to see if I can fix the seconds hand, or use the one from a Yuki kit I bought(still waiting for it, I know , I know). Had to buy that because out of two flake hands sets, both had a missing carrier for the seconds hand. We shall see. E
