calatrava
I'm on the market for a homage or replica of the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms, and I was wondering if people have any alternative suggestions or opinions about some of the watches I've identified as possible options. For reference, this is the look (of the gen) I'm trying for: Now for some of the contenders: Yobokies Fifty Fathoms Mod of the Seiko SNZH57 $295 Davidsen Fifty Fathoms FF95 - $330 Davidsen Fifty Fathoms F28 - $330 (I assume) drudy Fifty Fathoms Homage - $425 Helson's Fifty Fathoms Homage - $
horace derwent
Sorry if i reup this old thread, but i don't wanna create a duplicate. So, i'm in love with Blancpain timepieces and FF in particular....which are the differences between these rep makers ? I'm tempted by the Davidsen's FF; it has Asian movement and Plexi glass (so it can crack)....what other 'makers (Helson and Drudi) offers? If i'm not wrong, the 'correct' FF would be like these 2 photos that i attach, especially the engraving The dust proof cover was also custom engraved with 'In case of opening the watertightness of this watch must be re-checked by and official BLANCPAIN Fifty Fathoms dealer patent pending', and of course the rotor engraving, like in other photo...which maker would have such a 1:1 rep ? GenTLe
Not getting your question. Are you searching for a vintage version? Because on the market there's the FF version from N Factory which is a GREAT piece...
horace derwent
Yes, i would prefer a vintage version...which maker can realize an engraved rotor/magnetic plate as the photos i posted?
