Currently listening to U22 from U2. I don't care for the recent debate and controversy about the last album 'Songs Of innocence' and the iTunes distribution. I care about their music, and in U22 the band put any song performed on the 360 Tour up for nomination as to which ones would be included on the collection. The fans were then able to vote on which songs they wanted included. The top 22 choices determined the song lineup. Then, the band and producer sat down and culled through 110 complete concert recordings to find the best performance of each of the 22 selected songs. Those recordings were then sequenced and mixed as though they were one live show. The result is the strongest live album U2 has put out to date. One could argue that their relevance has peaked and receded somewhat, but this album proves that night after night, song after song, U2 performs like each show is their penultimate concert.
