Links in the older posts not working

Hello Guys,

So i have been doin a fair bit of reading lately and the wealth of information the the forum is phenomenal. All the articles and threads are so interesting. I especially loved the 'noob or no noon read this first' and all teh associated threads. However a lot of the links do not work and same goes for reviews of watches done a couple of years back. Any link clicked takes me to the members directory area. Can anyone help ?

Is there something I am not doing right? It seems pretty straightforward to just click on the link and normally the link opens in a new window.

facing the same problem. More than half of old links direct to members directory area... sad but there are too many

A lot of "necroposts" have links that are no longer valid......I suspect that attempting to open one automatically redirects to the OP's info page instead...

Any Mods/Admin who could shed some light? is there a way I could get them to work. Perhaps copy and paste the url with some modifications?

No, you are not doing something wrong. Many links were (irreparably) lost during 1 of the system upgrades.

Oh damn all the knowledgeable material seems to be affected the most! Is there any why I could manually get those articles? Perhaps pm the author and see?
